Interning at PharPoint Research

Dedicated to developing careers in the CRO industry

Just as we’ve been passionate about helping clients improve global health, PharPoint has been adamant about offering students who are just as passionate about improving global health as we are the experience and mentorship they need to thrive in the clinical research industry.

PharPoint offers internships across a range of functions, including statistical programming, clinical operations, data management and administration. Adriana, Macey, Victoria and Tyler were four participants in the internship program that spoke to us about their intern experience at PharPoint.

As Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Administrative interns, the students shared their insights regarding interning from home and discussed all that the program has to offer.

PharPoint’s company culture

What’s life like as an intern at PharPoint Research? We asked the students working with us about their experience, especially as some interns moved virtual.

“Whether working in the office or working virtually,” clinical operations intern Macey told us, “I am challenged and offered an abundance of support, wisdom, and opportunity each day.”

Time management, self-discipline and communication are few of the essential soft skills that these young professionals have told us they’ve been able to improve through their time at PharPoint.

“Whether working in the office or working virtually, I am challenged and offered an abundance of support, wisdom, and opportunity each day.”

Our 2020 interns also all emphasized that managers and other employees at PharPoint are always encouraging and available for any questions internship participants may have.

“It is so important to ask as many questions as possible, apply yourself, and work hard,” our general intern, Tyler, shared.

Marketing intern Adriana emphasized how apparent PharPoint’s mission was in her day-to-day. “I am so grateful for the opportunity to work for a company that is committed to improving global health, especially during the fight to end COVID-19.”

Our current interns advice for future PharPoint interns? Apply yourself!

“Get to know everyone and reach out to employees in different departments,” general intern, Victoria suggested. “It’s always great to have knowledge about other departments, because it can help you grow and develop as an employee.”
