What is a contract research organization?
Contract research organizations (typically just referred to as CROs) like PharPoint Research provide support to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies running clinical trials – typically referred as “Sponsors”. This support may include:
- Helping Sponsors design effective clinical trials that are scientifically sound and safe for participants
- Managing the many moving parts (and data) involved in clinical research
