Meet the PharPoint Team: Seth V., Manger, IT

Technology should make work easier, not harder – and that is the mindset PharPoint’s Seth V. brings to his role as IT Manager.

From troubleshooting to quiet optimization, Seth helps the IT team tackle technology questions as they arise and keep systems running so operations can occur smoothly.  “No question is too small,” Seth shared. “Our goal is to make IT easy and reliable – so everyone can focus on their work.”

Seth started his professional career at PharPoint as an IT Intern in 2021 following graduation from NC State University. Since then, he’s held Technical Analyst I and II roles before stepping into his current position, managing a team of two.

He credits his four years at PharPoint to both the people and the dynamic nature of IT work. “IT gives me a great opportunity to work with different departments,” he shared. “Every day is different, and I love building relationships across the company.”

Seth emphasized that these relationships and collaborative communication are a large part of his role beyond just problem-solving and system maintenance.

“Whether it’s breaking down technical issues in simple terms or understanding frustrations across departments,” he explained, “collaboration is key to solving bigger challenges.”

For Seth, success in IT is centered around ensuring no one is held back by technology. To achieve this goal, reliability is key.

“Our goal is to keep the fires down and everything running smoothly,” Seth said. “Before I leave for the day, I always check to make sure IT isn’t delaying anyone.”

Even in a well-prepared environment, unexpected technology challenges sometimes pop up, and while stressful, these high-priority situations are often some of the most rewarding fixes.  Seth recalls a day when a last-minute need meant racing between conference rooms to set up and test systems with only 10 minutes to spare.

“It was hectic,” he shared, “but knowing we helped them excel made it worth it.”

Moments like this highlight the bigger picture of Seth’s impact within the team: not just fixing technology problems, but ensuring his coworkers have the tools they need to succeed.
