PharPoint Acknowledges National Cancer Research Month this May 2021

May is National Cancer Research month, initiated and supported by the American Association for Cancer Research.

This month, we’re joining the AACR in recognizing all of the people involved in driving progress against cancer.

New advances and developments within cancer research are helping patients live longer – according to the American Cancer Society, the death rate from cancer in the US fell by 29% between 1991 and 2017.

From August 1 2019 to July 31, 2020, 20 new therapeutics against cancer were approved by the FDA. Today, nearly 17 million cancer survivors are living with, through, and beyond their diseases in the United States.

But there is still more work to be done.

PharPoint is proud to support many of the innovative sponsors involved in advancing treatment options for cancer patients. For more information regarding PharPoint’s experience, contact a representative and explore some of our resources below.
