PharPoint Acknowledges International Clinical Trials Day 2021
May 20th marks International Clinical Trials Day 2021, a day to honor and celebrate the patients, volunteers, healthcare workers, and clinical researchers involved in moving forward medical advances. This day in May is considered the date of the first modern clinical trial, performed by James Lind in 1747 aboard a ship struggling with scurvy.
The team at PharPoint Research is recognizing the efforts of all those who participate in and conduct clinical research.
Celebrating researchers, patients, and healthcare workers
Clinical trials wouldn’t be possible without the many, many parties involved in a study: from researchers, to patients and volunteers, to healthcare workers, PIs, and site staff.
Today and everyday, we celebrate all of these people involved in creating opportunities for new, safer, and more effective therapies. We’re thankful for the commitment and dedication they bring on their mission to improve global health.
Proud to be supporting clinical research every day
As a contract research organization (CRO) that has supported over 900 clinical trials since 2007, PharPoint is also incredibly proud of the many talented professionals on our team who go above and beyond to support our clients projects.
In addition to a 95% client retention rate, PharPoint’s team has recently received two industry recognitions. In 2020, PharPoint was selected as a company winner of the Triangle Business Journal’s “Life Sciences Award”. In 2019, we were proud to be one of a small selection of finalists in the Scrip Awards (by Informa Pharma Intelligence) for Best Contract Research Organization – Specialist Providers.
